What?

Find the title bar text of any window (even hidden ones) on your PC and record that text to a file. Supply a pattern to find (or * to find all windows). For example, supply "*Internet Explorer*" and it will list the titles of every IE window you have open.

Bit Torrent

This is great for users of BitTorrent - it allows you to check up on the progress of your downloads without having access to your desktop. You can view what is being downloaded, and its current progress, using your browser. Save the report to somewhere in your webserver's document root, and use on of the supplied scripts to mark it up. Then just view the page in your browser.

How

Supply *BitTorrent* in the "what to find" box, and the location of your webserver root in the other box. Every N seconds (60 by default), the report will be written to WindowFinderResult.txt as a report. For example, I set it to find all windows titled "*BitTorrent*", and to record this to C:\ every 60 secs. I can then view the report over the web. Copy the listing.* files and the CSS file into your document root and usae/edit these to display the text report file in a pretty way.

Who for?

Designed for BT users to monitor their downloads from work. Can be used by Net Admins or parents to record what their users/kids do.
