::: What do I do (during the day)?

And if you get paid for doing stuff you like, then wicked.

CargoWise edi
I love my job as Senior Developer, EMEA Products at CargoWise edi. I work on the UK customs module, enabling British brokers to reach HMRC (customs) and the port inventory systems.
CargoWise edi is based out of Sydney, where I lived & worked for 4 months, but my office is in Milton Keynes.
Check out my "Clarke Report" in our newsletter.

JAS
I used to work for a freight forwarders / financial services / IT services firm at Heathrow Airport and later Atlanta, GA. I was Senior Devloper, working on inter-office message exchange applications to link the branches with each other and with agents like airlines and customs providers. 2000 & 2001-2008.

Gucci / Luxury Timepieces UK / Office Angels
In a position arranged by Office Angels (and strictly they were my employer, but it's not a cool), I worked for Gucci's UK distribution and watch repair centre in Fulham. In the most unassuming warehouse on a trading estate in Fulham, with no signs or names anywhere, one can find Luxury Timepieces UK.
I, basically, without jazzing it up, packed watches in boxes. Yawn. But I did get to handle around £1M worth of booty per day.
My favourite (ladies) watch, the 3705:

Imperial College Union
This is where my DJ "career" started. From 98 I worked for the Entertainments department playing choon at first on a Wednesday night. Soon I was involved more in the management of the Union's events, including Open Mic comedy nights and Summer balls. I got better (later) slots DJing because of this, but playing the best slots involved playing cheesey music, which is all the IC crown wanted.

Eastgate Filling Station (Shell franchise).
I worked the graveyard shift at the filling station in the summer of 98. This was a bit kak because of all the louts that used to come in after the pub. Eventually you have to serve through the hatch (yes sorry, I hate it as a customer too, but it's for the protection of the staff fom the 1% who spoil it for all) which involves getting people to hand over their money *before* getting their ciggies (yes I fell for it once when I first started).

The Halfway House
The Halfway House in Dunsatble seemed to keep myself and many friends in pocket money for far too long. I started there as a Hydro-ceramic Technician* and then tended the bar. I also did this after my second year at uni during the summer.

* dish-washer

Leslies Of Luton
My first job was at Leslies Of Luton. I started here in 1994 as a work experience kid and then got a saturday job. My duties invloved tending the maggots.
